NB46 | NB50 - 350 PAX DE HYBRID FERRY

Norwegian transport company Boreal has signed a contract with Sefine Shipyard for building five sister vessels. All of them will be hybrid double-ended ferry with 1017 kWh battery capacity. WESTCON P&A will be electric system integrator of these vessels. These Multi Maritime-designed electric ferries will each have a length of 35 meters and capacity for 350 passengers whereas the vessels currently serving the inner Oslofjord islands could transport only up to 236. Similar to our SAR boat projects for Turkish Coast Guard, these vessels will be fully aluminum.
